New module on ecosystem management

Ecosystems face an increasing pressure from unsustainable use and other threats including outright conversion. To address this concern, CNRD develops the elective module “Disasters, Environment and Risk Reduction” (ecoDRR), which will be implemented as an elective module in 10 CNRD partner universities worldwide. From August 20 to 25, representatives from the CNRD partners and the project partners UNEP, IUCN, and United Nations University Bonn (UNU) will meet in Cologne for the “Training of the Trainer Workshop”.
